Gayle Tremblay

Gayle is an accomplished retail executive known for developing imaginative solutions to today’s retail challenges. She has extensive leadership experience in store and online sales, merchandising, marketing and operations and has developed and executed multiple strategies for customer acquisition and retention, sales growth and improved profitability. Her retail expertise spans both the luxury and off-price markets.


Gayle spent 25+ years as an officer of Neiman Marcus, most recently leading the Last Call Clearance Division. She also led the company’s launch of and managed three full-line NM stores. She guided her teams in every instance to leverage innovative ideas and achieve outstanding results.


- Developed a multi-year strategic plan for the expansion of NM Last Call Stores that resulted in explosive sales and profit growth, making it the fastest growing division of the company.
- Led the launch of, working with cross-functional teams to integrate systems, merchandise and marketing into one cohesive online experience for the customer.
- Hired, trained and developed strong, results-oriented teams across many disciplines and prepared many direct reports to become officers of the company.
- Turned around several down-trending businesses, replacing poor performing strategies with successfully executed solutions that produced outstanding results.


Gayle has served on the boards of numerous non-profit and professional organizations and has been involved in many charitable fund-raising projects. She has also been a featured speaker at many retail symposiums and university lecture series. She studied economics at the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Houston.
