James A. Hekele, CPA

Jim is a proven finance leader with extensive experience in ecommerce and Omni-channel retailing. He understands the important role Finance plays in building effective strategic plans to deliver sales and profit goals. Jim has partnered with Omni-channel senior leadership, providing key decision-making analysis for cross-functional teams including website operations, marketing, planning & allocation, and supply chain.


Jim spent over 35 years with JCPenney in various Finance positions, with the last 15 years in leadership roles supporting Omni-channel, ecommerce and catalog as Financial Planning & Analysis Director and Divisional Controller. In these roles, he led the finance team in strategic and annual planning, P&L forecasting, financial scenario modeling, cost-savings initiatives, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Jim holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration with an accounting major from Kansas State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant, and is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs and the Dallas Chapter of CPAs.
